Xavier U Drops Birth Control Options from Health Plan

While the recent national debate about contraception has focused on whether Catholic colleges should be forced to offer it in their health plans, it’s true that some Catholic colleges already offer such plans voluntarily. One such college, Xavier University, announced this week that it would end that practice. Xavier President Rev. Michael Graham said the national debate prompted him to look into the issue of his university’s health care options.
