Women’s sports advocate and Independent Women’s Forum spokeswoman Riley Gaines continues to lead the charge to protect women and female sports. In an exclusive interview on Monday, Gaines joined The College Fix to share her message and the reason why she fights.
“I speak for so many,” she said. “I saw the tears,” she added, referring to how her fellow NCAA swimmers reacted to competing against a biological male swimmer.
“No one thought it was fair,” Gaines said. “The people who are calling this fair are not athletes.”
Gaines weighs in on the solution to the transgender athlete problem, discusses the “emotional blackmail” her athletic peers face to keep silent, and drops a hint about a major forthcoming announcement from her camp.
