The Princeton Review has released it’s annual list of the “best value” colleges. The ranking takes into account the total cost of each school, as well as the average amount of financial aid offered.
Top ranking private schools on the list are:
1. Williams College-Williamstown, Mass.
2. Harvard College-Cambridge, Mass.
3. Swarthmore College-Swarthmore, Pa.
4. Yale University-New Haven, Conn.
5. Princeton University-Princeton, N.J.
6. The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art-New York.
7. Vassar College-Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
8. Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Cambridge, Mass.
9. Amherst College-Amherst, Mass.
10. Pomona College-Claremont. Calif.
And the top value public institutions, according to Princeton Review are:
1. University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
2. New College of Florida-Sarasota
3. University of Virginia-Charlottesville
4. North Carolina State University-Raleigh
5. University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
6. University of California-Los Angeles
7. University of Florida-Gainesville
8. College of William & Mary-Williamsburg, Va.
9. Truman State University-Kirksville, Mo.
10. State University of New York-Binghamton
