Jennifer Kabbany, editor of The College Fix, joins Rebel News Canada’s William Diaz-Berthiaume to discuss The Fix’s Campus Cancel Culture Database.
The database documents examples of higher education targeting and suppression in an age of censorship, memory-holing and soft totalitarianism. It tracks and quantifies the massive scope of campus cancel culture, including both its successful cancelations as well as its unsuccessful ones, which can still have a chilling effect on freedom of thought.
Every week, new entries are added.
“The victims have actually become the oppressors,” Kabbany said during the interview. “They are setting the narrative and they’re saying what’s allowed and what’s not allowed, and in the meantime they are rewriting history, changing our traditions, changing our cultures, and really erasing so much of what we were founded upon.”
Diaz-Berthiaume added: “Basically just stripping our cultures of Western values that are the basic foundations of our society.”
