Dear men and women of the armed services, past and present: We at The College Fix salute you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you on this Veterans Day.
Thank you for your service and dedication to protecting our country. Thank you for your courage and bravery. Thank you for putting yourself in harm’s way for our sake. Freedom is not free, and we will never forget that.
We call on lawmakers in Washington to fix the Veterans Administration, take care of its wounded warriors. We call on them to spend money on military families, not boondoggles.
Our military is one of the prides and joys of our nation. Despite the bureaucracy you put up with, inside and outside your ranks, you still push forward and serve your country with distinction and perseverance.
