Shock Study: Smart Women Less Likely to Have Children

A controversial study led by a professor at the London School of Economics concludes that the smarter a woman is, the less likely she is to have children.

The Daily Mail reports:

A new study has revealed a clear correlation between intelligence and childlessness – with cleverer women more likely to choose not to have a family.

The study, which was conducted by Satoshi Kanazawa, a researcher at the London School of Economics, found that a woman’s urge to have children decreases by a quarter for every 15 extra IQ points…

The author of the study, professor Satoshi Kanazawa, has further stoked the fires of controversy by concluding that smart women who choose not to have children are “losers in life” because they fail to fulfill humanity’s evolutionary purpose of reproduction.
