Katherine Timpf of Campus Reform reports that Peter Guth, the Kansas University professor who said he wished the children of NRA members would die, has returned to do administrative work at the school after being forced to take a leave of absence.
KU announced Thursday that Peter Guth would return to work, but not to the classroom.
“We do have a lot of work to do on assessment as we prepare for various levels of accreditation, and that’s some of the work he will be doing,” said William Allen White School of Journalism Dean Ann Brill, according to the University Daily Kansan, KU’s student newspaper.
Guth was suspended on Sept. 20 over a Tweet he posted on Sept. 16…
“The blood is on the hands of the #NRA,” he tweeted, following the Navy Yard shooting in Washington, DC. “Next time, let it be YOUR sons and daughters.”
