Jessica Drake, whose recent filmography includes “Sexbots: Programmed for Pleasure,” “Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody,” and “Supergirl XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” recently swung by a summer psychology course on human sexuality at UCLA to give the undergrads some professional advice on how to have sex.
“Jessica Drake teaches modern sex ed to rousing ovation in UCLA,” declares a press release from her management company, which included pictures of the Aug. 11 guest lecture and a quote from its instructor, David Frederick, who gushed: “I always do a little jump for joy when she is coming because she is an engaging and thoughtful presenter who really knows how to keep students’ attention.”
Drake reportedly discussed sexual consent, communication and pleasure in bed.
“There is a definite call for available sex education and Jessica is in a unique position to respond with equal parts understanding, compassion, education and experience,” added Frederick, who has made a habit out of inviting Drake to speak to his human sexuality classes.
According to the release, “in the two hour presentation, Jessica also spoke about a sorely overlooked topic in sex education, pleasure, how to get it and how to give it, as well as the role of communication as a means towards better and more fulfilling sex.”
This is not the first time UCLA has hosted porn stars for such tutelage. In March 2015, several branches of the UCLA student government used a portion of their coffers to finance a “Porn Panel,” event, which cost at least $2,250 to put on. The workshop featured popular pornographic performers James Deen and Tasha Reign, with the tagline: “Get an inside look into the adult film industry from the stars themselves.”
Porn star visits are nothing new to the halls of higher education. For the last decade, academia has celebrated porn stars as one of the best sources of sex ed for young people, at UCLA and beyond.

In the spring of 2015, a popular gay porn star spoke at the University of Wisconsin Madison, urging the 100 or so students in the audience to explore their sexuality and push their sexual boundaries, saying “choosing desire where desire is prohibited is really important.”
Brown University in the spring of 2014 offered porn screenings as part of its sex week, showcasing clips of different types of pornography – “such as traditional, queer, and feminist” as participants sought to answer: “Porn: Entertainment or EVIL?”
Indeed, many modern campus sex weeks or sexuality classes offer some homage to porn, whether it’s hosting porn stars or screening the stuff, including at Harvard, Cornell, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Washington College of St. Louis, University of Chicago, University of New Mexico and other campuses.
Secular progressive academia seeks to glorify porn, condone it, suggest it’s healthy and mainstream, and declare to kids that they can learn a lot from it.
