POLL: Only 18 Percent of Millennials To Sign Up For Obamacare

Only 18 percent of young adults in a recent poll indicated that they are “likely to enroll” in the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, according to Young America’s Foundation.

In contrast, 46 percent of those questioned said they are “not likely to enroll,” the survey found.

“These figures may be particularly ominous for the Obama administration in light of news that fewer-than-expected young adults enrolled in Obamacare during the first three months of this law,” the foundation states on its website. “The government program needs at least 40 percent of young people to enroll in order to avoid even higher costs for the enrollees.”

Even if these numbers improve, young people will still associate Obamacare with its disastrous website rollout and lingering enrollment problems.”
