The O’Reilly Factor weighs in on controversial ‘white conservative’ terrorism lecture

‘What he represents is a larger issue that we see at universities across this country’

“The O’Reilly Factor” weighed in Wednesday on The College Fix’s reporting of an “Introduction to Psychology” lesson given at the University of California-Merced that argued most acts of terrorism in America are committed by white men who are “religiously motivated and politically conservative” and that “9/11 is basically the only act of foreign-born terrorism that has ever happened in the United States.”

As host Bill O’Reilly and Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum discussed the article and its video of the lecture — taken by a student and given to The College Fix — O’Reilly and MacCallum pointed out the UC Merced lecturer did not mention any other acts of terrorism committed by Muslims in America.

“He is trying to convince them all that 9/11 was just an isolated incident,” MacCallum said. “So what the world is telling you — that there is an Islamic radical problem in this country that could lead to violence and has — is not really where he wants his students to be focused.”

“What he represents is a larger issue that we see at universities across this country,” MacCallum continued. “… There is nobody teaching about the tenets of Islamic radicalism in this country in order to train people to think about what the world faces right now.”
