Oldest black frat passes ban on ‘trans members’

OPINION: One member questions why white people are allowed in, but not females

Intersectionality advocates are going to be left scratching their heads over this one – the nation’s oldest black fraternity recognizes biological truth and voted recently to bar “trans members” from joining.

Alpha Phi Alpha delegates voted at their July convention “to pass a proposed bylaw change that would ban trans members,” according to homosexual advocacy group GLAAD.

If implemented, the nation’s oldest black fraternity would join Phi Beta Sigma in preventing females from joining their male-only organization. The change has not been officially “ratified,” according to The Root. There are future votes before being fully ratified, according to The Root.

Since fraternities are for men, it only follows that females should not be allowed to join. Similarly, looking at you Kappa Kappa Gamma, men should not be allowed to join sororities.

One member wondered why white people are allowed in, but not gender-confused females.

“Trans men are men,” a member told GLAAD. (As an official Community Note rater for X, I need to chime in here and point out “trans men” are not men.)

“I just feel like at the end of the day, if you identify as a man and you want to be in fellowship with other men, then you should be allowed to,” the commentator said.

“It doesn’t sit well with me that a white man can be a member of Alpha, this historic Black institution, with no problem, but we’re going to tell Black trans men that they can’t,” the commentator said. “We’ve got all types of men in this fraternity, so to me, that’s how I look at it. It’s just another type of man.”

However, females who identify as men are not another type of man.

A boat that someone calls a car is not “another type” of car, it is still a boat.

The fraternity also pushes back against the LGBT agenda by not celebrating “Pride Month.”

“This June, Alpha Phi Alpha did not publicly acknowledge Pride Month on its official social media pages,” GLAAD reported. “Three members of the organization confirmed that Alpha’s stance, as communicated to inquiring members from national leaders, is that supporting Pride is a political act.”

The fraternity is showing courage in promoting the truth and moral integrity – let’s make sure they help draft the next Republican Party platform.
