Jim Messina, manager of the Obama re-election campaign sent out a bizarre email to Obama supporters on Thursday, the day the Supreme Court’s controversial decision to uphold Obamacare was announced
It’s been a good day.
But this is a three-step process.
1. Pass historic health care reform. Check.
2. Get affirmation from the highest court in the country. Check.
Step three? Win the damn election.
Then, Messina proceeds to ask for donations to help ensure that Mitt Romney doesn’t win and repeal the law. Nothing too surprising about the money grubbing. But why throw a meaningless curse word into an official campaign email by calling it the “damn” election? Seems like more evidence of a lack of decorum and maturity on Team Obama–something we’ve become all too aware of over the last few years.
This is, after all, the president who has lately been dubbed “The Amateur.”
Sometimes I get the feeling that a bunch of bratty kids are running the country.
