Hot mic alert: Speaking at the Barnard College commencement, the president appeared to let a profanity fly, prompting chuckles from nearby faculty.
The audio is a bit garbled, but Huffington Post editor Ethan Klapper tweeted “Obama hot mic just now — ‘I gotta get my sh……’ just after the president uttered the remark in question. A moment after he made the remark, the president grabbed an item from under the podium.
The president then planted a farewell kiss on the cheek of an unnamed woman on stage–a fitting gesture since this speech (at a private all-woman’s college) was undoubtedly planned, in part, in order to exploit the gender gap in the upcoming election campaign.
