NY College Students Ambush David Petraeus (Video)

Former general and CIA director David Petraeus had a rough first day on the job as a professor at City University of New York (CUNY), thanks to some brash and mouthy young activists.

A video posted on YouTube shows a group of rowdy students jeering at Petraeus, calling him a “scumbag,” and a “war criminal.”

Petraeus resigned from the CIA in the wake of a humiliating personal scandal. More controversy erupted after CUNY gave Petraeus a job with an annual salary of $200,000–all for teaching just one course.

Later, Petraeus agreed to teach the course for the dramatically reduced salary of just $1. Accordingly, Petraeus’s teaching gig came to be seen as an effort to rehabilitate his public image.

Based on the reception he received on campus, however, it appears some students at CUNY aren’t ready to embrace their new teacher.

Looks like professor Petraeus may be in for a tough year.
