New Report Implicates Paterno, Administration In Sandusky Cover-Up

A new report issued by a former FBI director states that Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno knew about the child rape allegations against Jerry Sandusky, but took no action. Several Penn State administrators are also named in the cover-up effort. From Louis Freeh’s report:

Four of the most power people at The Pennsylvania State University – President Graham B. Spanier, Senior Vic President-Finance and Business Gary C. Schultz, Athletic Director Timothy M. Curley and Head Football Coach Joseph V. Paterno – failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade. These men concealed Sandusky’s activities from the Board of Trustees, the university community and authorities.

With the evidence mounting, Penn State will have to consider firing all of these administrators and dissolving its football program.
