Pro-life advocates: Police escorted group to safety after raucous demonstration
A rowdy mob of protesters at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University surrounded a small group of pro-life students on Friday, vandalizing their display and yelling “F— ‘dem kids” before police escorted them away to safety, videos and pictures show.
The protest took place during a tabling effort organized by the student pro-life organization ahead of a speech by Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democrat who supports legalized abortion.
Pro-life students were “surrounded and attacked” and “heckled and twerked on” at the Greensboro, North Carolina university, Students for Life Action wrote Saturday on X, sharing photos and videos from the event.
“Eventually, the #ProLifeGen was completely surrounded, having their belongings stolen & vandalized,” the organization continued. “The local police had to escort them off campus for their own safety.”

Despite the hostility, student pro-life leaders said they will not give up advocating for unborn babies and women in need.
During the four hours they spent on campus, the pro-life advocates said they also had “meaningful conversations, which changed a handful of minds about abortion,” Students for Life Action wrote on X.
Pro-life advocates said they held the protest at the public university to raise awareness about Harris and President Joe Biden, who “are pushing for taxpayer-funded abortions through all 9 months, for ANY reason, and without parental consent for minors.”
Conservative and pro-life organizations have reported a huge spike in vandalism, threats and other hostilities on college campuses in recent years.
