One of the goals of The College Fix and its parent organization, the nonprofit Student Free Press Association, is to identify college students interested in media careers and give them an opportunity to not only report on the latest campus news, but advance their journalism careers.
To that end, every fall, spring and summer The College Fix/Student Free Press Association sends talented and ambitious student journalists to highly respected news outlets in Washington D.C. to hone their skills and improve their craft. They gain real-world experience and network with some of the best and brightest.
We offer college students and recent grads paid work experience through these interning fellowships, opportunities that have often helped lead to longterm media jobs.
