If Temple University Japan students didn’t know how to protest President Trump’s executive order on immigration, they do now.
The director of the law school, Tina Saunders, sent an email to all TUJ undergraduates on behalf of Law Prof. Ric Fouad, advertising the “March for an Inclusive America” that takes place Sunday in Tokyo.
The email (redacted below), obtained by The College Fix, directs students exactly where and when to meet. “The march is a family-friendly event and will be positive and inclusive!” Saunders wrote.
She told students how to contact Fouad if they want to help with “event logistics.”
Indeed, the Facebook page cited in Saunders’ email says it will be “family-friendly” and “positive and inclusive”:
Please join us for our first major action: a “March For An Inclusive America.” The march is to affirm our commitment to our Muslim sisters and brothers at a time when they need to know they have our support. …
To encourage that tone and assure a safe space for all, we will thank participants in advance for avoiding negative signs/slogans, and instead carry such positive messages as:
Build Bridges Not Walls
We Stand With Muslims
Immigrants Make America Great
Diversity Makes America Great
Inclusion Makes America Great
Stronger Together
Solidarity With Refugees Everywhere
Inclusion For All
Temple’s Japan campus was founded 35 years ago and has 940 undergraduates, according to the school’s basic facts.
