The Big Apple’s gone rotten for job seekers.
Maybe comrade Bloomberg and his pals down at NYC City Hall are too busy banning soft drinks to do much about the local economy.
“I would criticize the federal government for not doing anything,” Bloomberg said in a recent radio interview about the city’s ban on large soft drinks. “I would criticize the state governments for not doing anything, but in the end, it’s the cities that do things.”
Take a look at your unemployment rate, Mr. Mayor. Then ask yourself if you’ve been doing the right things.
