The Tennessean reports that the city of Nashville, TN is offering all high school seniors tuition free enrollment at area community colleges:
About 3,800 students entering their senior year in Metro Nashville public high schools can apply for free training that gives them a shot at careers many never considered because they couldn’t afford the tuition. Any student can apply, but the program is targeting low-income families and youths who would be first-generation college students.
The project, called “nashvilleAchieves,” is a public-private partnership that will provide tuition at Nashville State Community College or the neighboring Tennessee College of Applied Technology…
