Breaking Campus News. Launching Media Careers.
Five great reasons to consider a year-end donation to The College Fix

Hello College Fix readers — can you believe it’s almost 2023?

Every year the campus drama gets wackier and more extreme, so goodness only knows what next year will bring. But we will be there to cover it, you can count on that!

As you consider your year-end donations, would you please be so kind as to think of us at the Student Free Press Association, the publisher of The College Fix? Your tax-deductible contribution (yep, we’re a 501c3) will help us continue to break campus news and launch media careers, like our masthead says.

Honestly, whether it’s $5 bucks or $50, we truly appreciate every little bit. As editor, I’d like to say thank you in advance. We don’t run annoying amounts of ads on this site or require you to disable your adblocker, so we are grateful to you for pitching in this holiday season, whatever the amount.

Need more convincing? How about these five points to ponder:

1) Lots of bang for your buck!
The College Fix is a virtual office, so your donation does not pay for brick and mortar expenses such as rent or utilities.

2) Lots of bang for your buck!
The College Fix is a lean, mean, fighting machine. We put out our daily online newspaper with a sum total of three-and-half editors. Our power comes from harnessing dozens of student reporters each year from across the nation to train and mentor. Your donation supports us as we guide and raise up the next generation of brave, liberty-minded journalists: we pay students per article as well as provide paid internships every spring, summer and fall at leading publications in Washington D.C.

3) Lots of bang for your buck!
We have a proven track record of success. Nearly three-fourths – 74 percent – of our fellowship alumni have remained in media careers. From 2014 to today, 60 percent continue to work as journalists and another 14 percent work in a related media field, such as book publishing and speechwriting.

4) Lots of bang for your buck!
A donation to the Student Free Press Association, which publishes The College Fix, is a win win. It’s a gift to both campus and media reform. It aids two causes at once: it shines a light on higher education insanity, the waste, fraud, abuse, bias, constitutional abuses and other topics; and it also helps launch the media careers of truth-telling, independent reporters.

5) Lots of bang for your buck!
A donation to us is a donation to restoring America. If you have ever wondered why this country is so far askew from the one you grew up in, it’s because we have ceded education and the media to secular-progressive ideologues who use both platforms to propagandize young Americans with their narrative. We are fighting the good fight to gain back ground on these vital fronts.

Welp, that’s my pitch. As editor of The College Fix, I’d like to say thanks, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Kabbany
