In his new book, sociology professor Eric Anderson of the University of Winchester in England claims that it is natural for men to cheat on their partners. Those who practice monogamy, he says, are subjecting themselves to "socially-compelled sexual incarceration." In his study, Mr. Anderson found that 78% of men cheated, even though they wanted to stay with their primary partners.

Introducing the Youth Misery Index: Youth unemployment is at 17.4 percent - one of the highest levels since World War II. Average graduating student debt has reached a record-breaking $26,300. National debt per capita is $46,900 - the highest ever. Young people are disappointed that this administration’s policies failed to live up to the hope-filled rhetoric of 2008.

Last Friday, the world witnessed a round of outrageous news reports of desperate shoppers attacking one another. In Georgia, a mob of hundreds broke into the mall. In Houston, a man was beaten and a female companion stabbed. After the brutal assault, his attackers carefully removed and made off with his shoes. Oh, tidings of comfort and joy.
