VIDEO: Some college students argue free speech should have limits

Some students at Rutgers University argue there should be limits on free speech. Their statements were made in interviews with Rutgers Today in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attacks.

The students were asked questions such as: “Is there such a thing as too much freedom of speech? Should publications be free to insult religions and their beliefs? Are limits on free speech a good idea?”

A few of the students interviewed implied that those massacred had it coming, the whole you-mess-with-the-bull-you-get-the-horns notion. It’s pretty scary how members of the younger generation can so freely be willing to give away their First Amendment rights and sympathize with terrorists.

There were a few shining stars among the students interviewed, but it’s hard to fathom why any of the students answered by saying: “Yeah, limit free speech.” It just goes to show you how well social progressives have shaped young minds of mush on campus.
